The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Day Treatment Counselor/Social Worker to join our Education/Bonner Academy team. The role involves counseling individuals, families and groups to treat mental health and welfare problems and developing therapeutic plans for both mainstream school and day treatment settings.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s in social work or counseling; an active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT is required, with a master’s preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's in social work, counseling, or related field required or preferred
• Active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT credential required
• Experience as clinician, counselor, social worker, therapist or mental health specialist
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance proof required

Responsabilidades

• Counsel individuals, families and groups to address mental health and welfare issues
• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans in school and day treatment settings
• Collaborate with education teams to support student wellbeing and progress

The Day Treatment Counselor/Social Worker counsels individuals, families, and groups to treat mental health and individual and family welfare problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family dysfunction and develops and implements appropriate therapeutic treatment plans in both mainstream school and day treatment settings.

Qualifications

Who you are:

• You have a bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling, or related field; master's degree preferred.
• You have an active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT.
• You have previous experience as a Clinician, Counselor, Social Worker, Therapist, or Mental Health Specialist.
• You have an active driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
