Sylvania is seeking day-to-day substitute teachers to support classrooms in Potter, Cameron, McKean, and Elk Counties. Training is provided and a teaching certificate or bachelor’s degree is required.

Immediate openings for day-to-day substitute teachers supporting students and classrooms in Potter, Cameron, McKean, and Elk Counties. Training provided. Requires teaching certificate or bachelor's degree.

Updated rates: $135/day (1 - 20 days) plus mileage (over 20 miles round trip).
$150/day (21 - 90 days) plus mileage (over 20 miles round trip).

Individuals holding the following qualifications may now serve as substitute teachers:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 60 college credits and 25 years old or older
• Student currently enrolled in a teacher program and has 60 completed credits
• Retired teacher

New clearances upon hire and Pre-employment drug testing will be required for successful employment.
