Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery and provide education to patients and families.
• Assist with preoperative preparations, including IV therapy and medications.
• Perform surgical site verifications and adhere to universal protocols.
• Monitor patient condition during shifts and document changes thoroughly.
• Collaborate with surgeons, technicians, and providers to ensure patient safety.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
