Qualifications

• Minimum of five years welding experience.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings for tolerances and process control.
• Employment contingent on successfully passing drug screening and background check.
• Knowledge of ASTM A36 mild steel or equivalent materials.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions, prints, and work orders; plan procedures and material needs.
• Fabricate equipment by cutting, burning, and welding metals; repair using welding techniques.
• Adhere to design specs and welding procedure documents.
• Prepare surfaces, set up, assemble, and tack weld parts.
• Use precision measuring instruments; record dimensions on QA forms.
• Participate in design reviews and suggest product/process improvements.
• Document work processes and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Work weeks may exceed 40 hours; willingness to cross-train.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
