Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Garland, TX seeks a warehouse associate to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, spill cleanup, inventory monitoring, and cross-department collaboration to meet production deadlines.

Applicants should have at least one year in manufacturing/distribution; a bonus program may apply based on performance. Day shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• One year of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers and related devices safely.
• Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform spill cleanup and rework procedures and monitor materials for quality.
• Keep equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide training and technical support to team members.
