Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across facilities. You will operate specialized cleaning equipment, handle chemicals safely, and support general janitorial duties as needed to keep spaces sanitary. The shift is 10:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Service and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions with appropriate solutions.
• Gather and dispose of trash/recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage.
• Notify management of repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
