Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for a full-time Warehouse Attendant at our Canteen location in Bessemer, AL. The role involves receiving, storing and distributing materials, operating forklift and pallet jacks, and ensuring accurate inventory.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am start, with online applications accepted only. Respondents should have prior experience in order picking, forklift and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Previous order picking experience preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, customer orders, and shipping orders to determine items to move.
• Convey materials from receiving to storage or designated areas.
• Place materials on racks and shelves according to codes.
• Fill requisitions and distribute items to production workers or lines.
• Assemble customer orders on pallets and coordinate with shipping.
• Enter records into the computer system and maintain inventory records.
