Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate (Mid-Shift) in Waynesboro, VA. The role involves checking in returned route trucks, accurately recording codes and quantities, and returning product to proper locations.

You will build pallets, stretch wrap, and move goods to the dock using a forklift or electric pallet jack. The position requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work Mon–Fri, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Previous experience with warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Demonstrates safety awareness and careful handling of products.

Responsibilities

• Check in returning route trucks and document codes and quantities.
• Return all product to assigned locations and empty kegs to dunnage area.

Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., located in Central and Southwest VA, is a large beverage distribution company seeking a full-time WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (MID-SHIFT).SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri 10 AM - 6:30 PMThe primary responsibilities are checking in returning route trucks accurately documenting code dates and quantities as needed. Return all product to assigned locations and all empty kegs to the dunnage area neat and organized. Assist with various duties as assigned by the warehouse manager. The shift is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Occasionally earlier start time or later finishing time may be required as needed.Duties and Responsibilities Include:Truck check ino Service Rep/Sales Team check-ino Verify all product returned to the warehouseo Accurately Document and separate close to code and out of code product.o Pick and load “hot shots” as assigned:Pick inter-company transfers:o Accurately pick orderso Verify that product type and count is correcto Build pallets and stretch wrap to assure that product will travel without damages.o Use electronic equipment to move product to the front dock area or as directed.o Load pallets onto transfer trailers in a safe manner.Keep loading pad area clean, neat and organized daily:o Discard all loose trash, stretch wrap and broken pallet pieces.o Down stack pallets to even layers to prevent damage.o Clean up all spills and breakage immediately.o Stack empty pallets and return to storage location.Manage Dunnageo Consolidate and maintain dunnage area in neat, orderly manner.o Prepare and schedule dunnage returns to suppliers.Inventory management:o Produce close to code reports and move inventory and adjust dates as needed and Relocate product to designated area so that inventory is available for picking.Equipment Maintenanceo Clean and perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment.o Document cleaning and maintenance.o Work with day warehouse manager to schedule repairs as needed.o Return equipment to designated area when not using.General/Othero Complete all other tasks or projects assigned.o Function in a fast-paced environment, as a member of a team and independently.o Adhere to strict safe working practices and company policies.POSITION REQUIREMENTSMaintains professional internal and external relationships throughout the company.Demonstrates a high level of integrity.Interacts and collaborates with company employees at all levels in a respectful manner.Leads by example, builds trust, values others and communicates effectively with others in a team environment.Demonstrates sense of urgency in accomplishing goals and objectives.Demonstrates flexibility and ability to work nights and early mornings as training, team-building, and other circumstances dictate.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSGood organizational and time management skills.Demonstrated basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Previous experience with computerized warehousing preferred.Demonstrated experience using a forklift, or electric pallet jack experience preferred.* * * * *EOE: Blue Ridge Beverage is an equal opportunity employer.
