Job summary

HD Supply in Groveport, OH is hiring for a full-time distribution-center role. The position runs Monday–Friday, 4:30am–1:00pm with overtime as needed, and starts at $18.50 per hour. Duties include operating material handling equipment, staging orders, loading trucks, and ensuring accurate inventory and packing.

HS Diploma or GED preferred; ability to pass a drug test and lift up to 50 lbs are required. Training for order/cherry picker, reach, EPJ, or forklift may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Able to pass a drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavy items
• Willingness to train to operate order/cherry picker, reach, electric pallet jack or similar equipment
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Use packing lists to collect items for customer orders and build pallets.
• Inspect stock items for wear/defects and notify management of inventory issues.
• Maintain a clean work environment in compliance with safety policies.
• Perform inventory control functions as needed.
