Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Fairbanks, AK. You will perform receiving, stocking, assembling, staging, loading, and unloading tasks with opportunities for overtime.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50+ pounds, operate pallet jacks, and work with accuracy on orders and inventory. Training and benefits are provided to keep operations efficient and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks under time constraints.
• Knowledge of warehouse principles, practices, and procedures.
• Able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.
• Able to operate material handling equipment.
• Able to read, speak, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stage finished product for loading.
• Check purchase orders/work orders for correct assembly and delivery readiness.
• Check items to ensure correct quantities are assembled.
• Assist in inventory maintenance and counts.
• Load finished product onto the truck.
• Unload products from trucks and stock in designated area.
• Ensure quality control and avoid damaged goods.
• Operate pallet jack per SOP and perform preventive maintenance.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
• Handle inventory movement into/out of controlled locations.
• Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
• Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.
