Job summary

Acme Tools is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Day Shift. The role involves unloading freight, verifying deliveries, and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills and the ability to lift heavy items are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for up to 10 hours, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Willing and able to work on powered equipment (e.g. forklift).
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipment.
• Compare goods received with packing slips to ensure order accuracy and inspect for damage.
• Maintain a neat and orderly stock on sales floor and warehouse shelves.
• Prepare shipments and load products onto trucks or customer vehicles.
• Occasionally drive a company vehicle to transport items between locations.
