Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist with patient care and operating room prep under the supervision of an OR RN. You will assemble, set up, and use surgical instruments and equipment for procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include graduation from a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent, WA registration prior to start date, CPR certification, and preferred national certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CST program or equivalent.
• National certification preferred.
• WA State registration required before start date.
• CPR certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN.
• Assemble, set‑up, and use surgical instrumentation and equipment during procedures.
• May require rapid adaptation to emergent or critical situations and independent decision‑making when appropriate.
