Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Supply Chain Technician for Medical City Green Oaks Hospital in Dallas. This role focuses on receiving and distributing supplies to support patient care, with daily operations in the hospital’s supply chain workflow.

Responsibilities include processing returns, delivering materials, stocking safety levels, and ensuring accurate data in the SMART system. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior stock or customer service experience preferred.

• Previous stock clerk or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process returns to vendor and backup stock accurately and timely.
• Transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices.
• Receive expedited deliveries and enter receiving into the SMART system.
• Receive all cross-docked items into the SMART system.
• Review and maintain Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriately.
• Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly and ensure POU items have barcodes.
• Perform QA random checks on totes.
• Rotate stock in POU and backup storeroom areas and assist personnel.
• Check after-hour logs for charges and determine how to avoid recurrence.
