Job Description

YOUR TASKS

The Day Shift Supervisor oversees daily production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. They lead shift supervisors, align teams with departmental goals, and promote accountability, teamwork, and communication across functions.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Supervise daily production to meet schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols, resolving issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop shift supervisors to drive consistent leadership and performance across all shifts.
  • Align shift supervisors with departmental goals, operational standards, and best practices.
  • Hold shift supervisors accountable for team performance, engagement, and development.
  • Ensure adherence to operational standards, safety protocols, and compliance with company policies.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the workforce.
  • Foster a positive, supportive work environment that enhances engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Collaborate across departments to optimize processes, strengthen communication, and eliminate silos.
  • Follow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as steel toe shoes, hearing protection and safety glasses (if needed).
  • The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise

The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with training provided

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Or a combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a formal leadership role within manufacturing or production environments, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire teams towards achieving high performance and operational goals.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position
