Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a day shift, full-time Sleep Center-A Registered Polysomnographic Technician in Albuquerque, NM. The role works under medical direction to evaluate and treat sleep disorders, with opportunities to oversee other sleep center staff and deliver direct patient education.

The ideal candidate will hold required sleep technology credentials, complete mandated CME, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of polysomnography program or Respiratory Care program or equivalent.
• Six months of PSG technician experience; 10 hours/year of AMA PRA Category I CME/CE sleep-related activities over 3 years.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer before direct patient care.
• RST/BRPT/ABSM SDS credentials required; CRT-SDS or RRT-SDS acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and out-of-center sleep testing.
• Perform duties of sleep technician and oversee other sleep center staff as needed.
• Maintain credentialing in sleep technology and ensure quality patient care.
