Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Security Guard for a premier education facility. The 1st shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:15 PM, with on-the-job training provided and duties including camera monitoring, incident reporting, and public-facing security tasks.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalency, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. You may need to obtain a Guard License.

• Ability to understand, interpret and follow the rules, instructions and lawful orders.
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Ability to obtain a Guard License.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Allegiance management in delegated duties and functions
• Follow written/verbal directives
• Stand or walk constantly (for multiple hours, up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, grass, dirt)
• Monitor security cameras
• Public relations and awareness and dealing tactfully with the public
• Assist in investigations concerning loss/damage of client property
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policy and procedure and other directives
• Obtain and in detail statements, write reports, interview and observe and document information in a professional manner
