Blue Island Recycling, LLC is seeking a skilled Material Handler/Crane Operator to join our Day Shift operations team in Blue Island, Illinois. The role involves operating mobile material handlers and cranes to effectively sort and process scrap metal within our facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating material handlers, cranes, excavators, or similar heavy equipment required.
• Strong understanding of safe material handling practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Liebherr and Sennebogen material handlers.
• Sort, process, and move ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal.
• Perform daily preshift and postshift equipment inspections.
