Job summary

Campus Services Group is seeking a School Housekeeper in Pennsburg, PA. The role involves cleaning classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and common areas to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards. You will work closely with staff and students to provide a tidy school environment.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm. Qualifications include a high school diploma and prior custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting preferred. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, classrooms, cafeterias, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, replenish lavatory supplies.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove graffiti.
• Use cleaning solutions safely, adhering to safety precautions.
• Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist with event support and respond to paging systems promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Ensure customer service and cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
