Job summary

Allen Distribution is seeking a Sanitation professional to maintain a clean and safe facility. You will perform housekeeping tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and support food-safe or product-safety practices in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to work a 6:00am–2:30pm shift with potential OT. A forklift license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, squat and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean bug lights as needed using hot soapy water.
• Empty trash daily in all areas of the building.
• Inspect refrigerators for spillage and clean with hot soapy water.
• Remove spider webs around forklift areas, racking and perimeter edges.
• Vacuum carpet areas and sweep/mop floors as needed.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the operations building and break rooms.
• Follow established Dock Safety practices and report malfunctions.
