Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is seeking a Nursing Administration RN Supervisor for day shift in Cushing, OK. This role oversees patient care coordination and operational support on a designated shift, partnering with the administrator on call.

You will serve as a clinical resource, help determine staffing needs, and liaise between staff, patients, physicians, and management to maintain high-quality care across the campus.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN degree required.
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS (upon hire).
• PALS (within 60 days of hire).
• A minimum of 3 years of applicable RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient care coordination on designated shift for Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in patient care areas with administrator on call.
• Ensure quality patient care aligned with organizational philosophy and objectives; provide direct operational support on a shift basis; act as a clinical resource; liaise between staff and management.
• Provide communication link between manager, staff, patients, physicians and others.
• Serve as a resource to staff for patient bed assessment and emergency nursing planning.
• Facilitate problem resolution and collaborate with administration and Medical Director to assess quality of care and staff performance.
• Identify and address operational issues; work to take action and correct problems.
• Interface with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning.
