Job summary

Community Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for the Post Coronary Care Unit to deliver high quality care in a busy acute care setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and apply nursing processes to patient care.

Day shift, 24 hours weekly, hourly pay range $48.29–$65.06 in New Jersey. Requires ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, BLS, strong communication and computer skills; BSN preferred within 5 years of hire.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• BLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• BSN preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• The Registered Nurse assures safety in practice and uses evidence-based practice.
• The Registered Nurse reports identified safety issues and medical errors.
• The Registered Nurse has knowledge of the patient population served.
• The Registered Nurse supervises and directs delegation of tasks to team members and collaborates with other care providers.
• The Registered Nurse sets and evaluates priorities with measurable outcomes.
