Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Take the lead: prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for your patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure appropriate direct patient care.
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.
• Monitor patient conditions and engage with patients, families, and care team on significant events or questions.
• Prevent and treat wounds and ensure infection control and environment-of-care requirements.
• Ensure continuity of care and clear communications for a high-quality patient experience.
• Consult with supervisor when assignments cannot be completed promptly, effectively, or safely.
• Educate patients and families using available resources and continuum of care services.
• Contribute to the team by assisting others as needed.
