Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Operator for Lufkin, TX to support blending, packaging, and warehouse flow. You will work on the day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Mon-Fri with possible weekend hours, in a safety-focused, physically demanding environment.

The ideal candidate has physical labor experience, can follow detailed work orders, lift up to 50 lb, and work with forklifts. HS diploma or GED and strong math skills are required; teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Physical labor experience and ability to stand for extended periods.
• HS diploma or GED and strong math skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders, including accurate tracking of lot numbers and production details.
• Mechanical aptitude and a strong sense of self-motivation with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift heavy bags (approximately 50 lbs.) and place them on pallets safely.

Responsibilities

• Safety first: contribute to a safety culture while working in a very dirty, noisy, non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations as designated, coordinating with forklift drivers to keep production moving.
• Dose raw materials into blending operations and track dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues.
• Package and palletize finished product; regularly operate forklifts as required.
• Maintain process area cleanliness and complete housekeeping tasks to minimize loss and support efficient operations.
