Job summary

Intermountain Electronics is seeking a Production Material Planner for the Price, UT facility on the Dayshift. The role ensures all materials are available, staged, and delivered to the production floor to sustain a smooth manufacturing flow.

The candidate will work with production leads, manage kitting, and coordinate with Material Handlers, while adhering to 5S and safety guidelines. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED or equivalent; or two years shipping/receiving experience.
• Language ability: read shipping docs and communicate in English.
• Math ability: count, compute costs, and handle material calculations.
• Computer skills: basic software use including Word, Excel, Outlook and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Kitting and material delivery scheduling to maintain efficient production flow.
• Coordinate with production leadership to stock materials for each cell.
• Stage and deliver materials from warehouse to production in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory and support 5S and organization.
• Identify and resolve material shortages or discrepancies before impact to production.
• Support material handler activities and maintain productive workflow.
