H.T. Prof Executive Search seeks a hands-on Day Shift Production Supervisor for Bluffton, OH. You will lead a growing, low-bureaucracy operation, supervising up to 15 hourly staff on a Monday–Friday schedule with minimal weekend work.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety, quality, and on-time delivery while partnering with owners and senior leaders daily. You'll drive continuous improvement, coordinate with sales on quotes, maintain inventory, and ensure ERP data accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of production supervision experience.
• Experience supervising 10+ people in manufacturing/distribution.
• Ability to drive a forklift on an as-needed basis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily production and monitor shop floor projects.
• Train and coach hourly workforce; evaluate performance.
• Ensure safety, quality, and delivery goals are met.
• Maintain inventory and ensure parts on-site for projects.
• Collaborate with sales on new business quotes.
• Review shift paperwork and production metrics.
• Communicate project status with customers.
• Enter production data into ERP system.
• Coordinate with quality on final inspections.
• Foster continuous improvement and scrap reduction (5S, cost savings).
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Verify timesheets, vacations and time-off requests.
• Other duties as directed.
