Job summary

Urschel, a 100% employee‑owned company, has an opening for a Precision Machine Operator for our day shift in the Milling department. This is a full‑time role, Monday–Friday and may require working on Saturday based on workloads.

Starting pay is $29.18/hour. A day in the life includes operating machine tools (manual or CNC) to machine parts from castings, forgings, or bar stock, using precision gauges to verify tolerances, and documenting inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering prints and job notes.
• Machining operations to close and interrelated tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools (manual/CNC) to machine parts from castings, forgings, fabricated parts, and bar stock.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and document inspections.
• Complete all tasks required to finish the manufacturing process.
