Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN license and active certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Ability to plan, direct, and document nursing care per standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement nursing care for post‑surgical patients according to accepted standards of care.
• Ensure highest quality and safety, complying with Joint Commission and federal/state regulations.
• Monitor patient condition, assess for complications, and intervene as needed.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team to support recovery and continuity of care.
• Promote infection control, patient safety, and healing environment.
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress in the electronic health record.
