Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a day shift, full-time Rehabilitation Unit Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Tulsa, OK. You will work with registered nurses to support patient care and help maintain a safe, clean unit environment.

The role includes taking vital signs, assisting with mobility and ADLs, and responding to call lights. BLS is required within 14 days; CNA/PCT or paramedic certification and phlebotomy skills are preferred; minimum 2 years in acute or long-term care is desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire/transfer.
• Preferred CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification or enrollment in nursing school.
• Minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
• Phlebotomy proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the registered nurse to support patient care.
• Monitor patients at timed intervals, document data, and report observations to the nurse.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs accurately.
• Respond promptly to all call lights.
• Assist patients with mobility and ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in hourly rounding and bedside shift reports as directed.
• Provide direct/indirect patient care and may assist with clerical tasks on the unit.
