fairlife in Webster, NY is seeking a Packaging Material Operator to organize, store, and supply raw materials to filling and packaging equipment. You will handle forklifts, ensure FIFO, maintain clean work areas, and support production with accurate documentation.

The role requires strong communication, safety focus, and the ability to work a 12-hour day shift on a rotating schedule. Training will cover material handling, equipment operation, and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to operate forklift and packaging equipment safely.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and escalate when needed.
• Commitment to safety procedures and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, GMP, and company rules.
• Report to and follow directions of Production Supervisors.
• Operate forklifts safely to move and stage materials.
• Maintain FIFO and proper storage of materials.
• Ensure accurate paperwork and data entry for inventory and production orders.
• Communicate inventory availability and production risks with supervisors.
• Keep infeed areas clean and release materials in an audit-ready state.
• Assist with training new team members and learn downstream equipment.
