Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a packaging technician to operate a packaging line and support quality control. The role involves filling, labeling, sealing and stacking finished goods while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to GMP and HACCP procedures.

Shifts run from 6am to 6pm with an hourly pay rate of $20. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and some production experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill bags or totes to proper weight.
• Ensure bags are properly sealed to prevent leakage.
• Stack finished product on pallets for transport.
• Label product with product code and lot number.
• Sample product for lab and customer checks for contamination.
• Maintain documentation of packaging, rework and scrap.
• Inspect equipment and report issues to maintenance.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs and HACCP programs for safety.
