Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Shipper/Receiver in Louisville, KY, for onsite warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, picking, shipping, and delivery preparation. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

The role requires forklift operation, pallet jack use, and ability to lift 50+ pounds, with tolerance for allergens and varying temperatures. Training and career growth opportunities are provided within a long-standing family-owned bakery leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of related warehouse experience or 1 year of non-related employment experience.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Must be able to tolerate allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.
• Ability to stand and walk, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery.
• Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
• Operate handheld SAP scanning devices for warehouse operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
• Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn.
