Michael Foods, Inc. in Gaylord, MN is hiring for a laboratory support role focused on media preparation and quality control. You will perform temperature checks, sterilizer documentation, and PH/meter calibration as part of routine lab duties. Strong SAP knowledge and inventory management are essential.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with rotational weekends and a pay range of roughly $20–$29 per hour. Prior lab experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• None required. Preferred: one year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Media preparation (pre-poured plates) and related lab duties.
• Maintain supplies inventory, receive and order materials (SAP).
• Perform quality control: temp checks, sterility testing, PH/meter calibration, and record keeping.
• Handle media transfers and plating procedures for raw materials and swabs.
• Enter data and ensure accurate documentation for GMP compliance.
