Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care seeks a full-time Day Shift Med Surg Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based care on an inpatient medical-surgical unit. You will assess and monitor patients, administer medications, manage IVs and telemetry, and develop comprehensive care plans.

Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and staff, you will document in the EHR and educate patients and families to support safe discharges and continuity of care in a modern hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse in Georgia
• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork with patient-centered focus

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients to identify changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage IVs and telemetry per protocol.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Document care delivery and patient progress in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and care at discharge.
• Support safe and efficient patient discharges and transitions.
