Job summary

Responsibilities include tagging and sorting items, stacking cargo, recording movement data, and assisting with packing and shipping materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in distribution, shipping, and receiving is preferred.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
• Load and unload flatbed and box trucks; sort materials before loading and unloading.
• Attach tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Stack cargo using pallets or cargo boards; record units moved.
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Guide loads to prevent swinging and ensure safe handling.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouses and yards as per procedures.
• Prepare shipping materials and pack containers; repack damaged containers as needed.
• Carry tools from storage or trucks and return after use.
