Job summary

Paylocity in San Diego, CA is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to assist in material handling, inventory accuracy, and customer service.

You will perform stockroom functions, pick parts for production, package finished goods, and maintain ERP records (IQMS). A team-driven environment with 1st shift hours promotes efficient daily operations, with safety and continuous improvement as priorities.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in warehouse/inventory roles.
• Experience operating forklift is required or must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (IQMS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment to transport materials between warehouse and production.
• Support material flow to production to minimize downtime and ensure on-time delivery.
• Receive and document incoming shipments; load/unload trucks with accuracy.
• Perform ERP inventory transactions (IQMS) to maintain records.
• Store materials in designated locations following FIFO and traceability.
• Maintain organization of CNC fixtures and tooling.
• Prepare materials for internal transfer or external shipment.
• Support 5S, waste management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist Shipping and Receiving to meet business demands.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards promptly.
• Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
