Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Whitestown, Indiana, is seeking a Material Handler for the Day Shift (Tuesday–Friday, 6:00am–4:30pm). This role moves material and inventory throughout the facility, uses hand trucks and conveyors, and supports packing, scanning, and counting tasks.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety and 7S standards, and contribute to a clean, efficient operation with a team-focused attitude. Candidates should be at least 18 and capable of basic math.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Pack, scan, kit or count products.
• Verify orders and label products with a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
