Job summary

Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM) is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to support production at our Denver facilities. You will move materials, organize the warehouse, inspect finished goods, and collect items for storage. Overtime may occur; no travel required.

The role requires operating a propane sit‑down forklift, following safety protocols, and collaborating with teams to maintain efficient production lines.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a propane sit‑down forklift or other powered industrial trucks.
• Demonstrates safe working practices and strong attention to detail.
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre‑shift forklift inspections.
• Record maintenance, quality, downtime, and production data; perform calculations.
• Safely operate propane sit‑down forklift to move materials and finished products.
• Visually inspect materials for defects and notify supervisor.
• Collaborate with production and shipping to follow standard works and improve operations.
• Support recycling/scrap areas and keep them organized.
• Fill in at other plant areas as needed.
• Assist other forklift operators as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
