Job summary

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing / Warehouse Operative for a busy Stone operation on a static day shift. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a pay of £12.80 per hour and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, loading/unloading, stock movement, basic production duties, quality checks and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in line with health & safety procedures. Full training provided and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Have previous warehouse, manufacturing or production experience – desirable but not essential.
• Are comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environment.
• Are reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
• Can commit to a permanent/static day shift.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing products for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Moving stock around the warehouse and production areas.
• Assisting with basic manufacturing and production duties.
• Checking products for quality and accuracy.
• Labelling, wrapping and palletising finished goods.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following company health and safety procedures.
