Job summary

Safari Circuits is seeking a dedicated Janitor I to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids. This hourly, non-exempt role handles sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, waste removal, and general upkeep to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while helping establish an efficient 5S environment. A high school diploma is preferred; manufacturing cleaning experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly manufacturing facility.
• Stock cleaning supplies, restroom supplies, and common-area supplies.
• Support facility organization, 5S, safety, and waste/recycling initiatives.
• Identify and report maintenance, repair, or safety concerns to management.
• Clean and maintain lunchroom, lockers, and break areas.
• Assist with basement cleaning, organization, and storage.
• Maintain overhead areas and walls; perform minor repairs and painting as needed.
• Clean desks, tables, white boards and other work surfaces.
• Help establish and maintain the facility 5S system.
