This full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm, involves ensuring patient safety through sound care practices and maintaining departmental operations. Qualified candidates must have radiography education, ARRT certification, and must achieve Mammography Certification within a year. Qualifications

• Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Obtain Mammography Certification within one year upon acceptance of offer.
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association upon start.

Responsibilities

• Administers sound patient care practices according to hospital policies.
• Completes ancillary tasks for efficient departmental operations.
• Demonstrates radiation protection/safety as outlined in protocols.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe condition.
• Provides clinical services according to radiology standards.
• Performs 200 exams every 24 months as per MQSA requirements.
