Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for its technical applications team in the Minneapolis area. This role offers hands-on maintenance work with opportunities to expand into process engineering and customer applications for advanced food processing equipment.

You will troubleshoot, service, and optimize milling and processing systems, read schematics, and support customer trials while collaborating with engineering and operations teams for maximum equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

3+ years of maintenance experience in a food, beverage, or industrial environment.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Familiarity with PLCs, automation, and industrial controls.
Ability to read electrical schematics and equipment layouts.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment issues.
Support equipment setup, changeovers, and preventative maintenance activities.
Assist with customer trials and product testing initiatives.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
Work with PLC-controlled equipment and automated processing systems.
Follow SOPs and ensure equipment is properly configured for testing and production activities.
Identify opportunities for equipment reliability and process improvements.
Partner with engineering, operations, and technical teams to support customer success.
