Job summary

VIP staffing in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Machine Operator for a full-time, temp-to-hire position. Shifts are 6am-3:30pm or 7am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday depending on business needs. Pay is $18.50 per hour.

As a Machine Operator you will run production machinery, package product, ensure packaging and quality, fill out production and AQL sheets, and maintain housekeeping and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Read, write, comprehend and follow English instructions.
• Flexible with shifts, weekends, and rotation schedules.
• Computer literacy is a plus.
• Able to perform manual tasks and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Run production machinery and package product.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling and product quality.
• Meet production quantity standards.
• Fill out production and AQL sheets.
• Check work orders before and during production.
• Load paper on machines and maintain housekeeping.
• Abide by all safety rules and regulations.
