Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to apply the nursing process, educate patients and families, and plan continuum of care. You will communicate with the healthcare team, set patient goals, and monitor progress to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires collaboration with colleagues, ongoing professional development, and adherence to Nursing Board standards. Shift is M-F, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no major holidays or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Experience planning patient care and education.
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare team to achieve patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes information to determine nursing diagnoses and adjustments to the plan.
• Continually evaluates patient progress and applies interventions to ensure outcomes.
• Promotes health and safe environments for patients.
