Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Class A Journeyman Reliability Technician to join our maintenance team on a day shift. The role focuses on reliable operation of plant equipment, from pumps to electric drives, with hands-on maintenance and safety at the core.

You will perform predictive, corrective and preventive maintenance, weld using TIG, and assist with piping, insulation and electrical installations as part of a collaborative team in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Completion of a maintenance mechanics apprenticeship.
• Must climb ladders, scaffolds and work on aerial platforms with balance.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints.
• D diagnose mechanical problems and repair pumps, agitators, conveyors and gearboxes.
• Willing to take training to gain required skills and OSHA tank entry certification.
• Available for scheduled or unscheduled overtime call-in work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and environmental awareness while performing duties.
• Perform predictive, corrective and preventative maintenance including pumps and installations.
• Perform TIG welding as needed on equipment.
• Assist with insulating, piping and installing process lines.
• Assist with electrical equipment installation including cable trays and drives.
• Safely operate trucks and overhead cranes.
• Utilize computerized work order system and learn the system as required.
• Work with a state of alertness and in a safe manner.
