Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, or at least six months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Must be able to follow instructions effectively and pay close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for using cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste including compactor use when needed.
• Clean windows, glass, partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets; assist with carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Adhere to the housekeeping schedule and perform routine tasks.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, buffers).
• Perform other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs.
