Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery at our Texas operation.

You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, inspect equipment, support installation and repair of components, and follow safety procedures while contributing to continuous improvement in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and bearings.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, drawings, and safety procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Capability to work independently and effectively in a production-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to safely restore operations and minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment and systems to ensure proper function and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support installation, alignment, and repair of mechanical components.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
