Job summary

Graham Packaging Company seeks an Industrial Maintenance Electrician based in Tolleson, AZ. The day shift runs 6:00am–2:00pm, with starting pay of $36.00–$40.00 per hour.

You will follow safety and quality policies while maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems. Responsibilities include reading drawings, installing and testing wiring, transformers and motors, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting production staff.

Qualifications

• Must have strong safety and quality policy adherence.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated experience with installation, maintenance and testing of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Monitor quality levels and adjust processes to ensure product integrity.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.
• Install, examine, replace or repair wiring, conduits, lighting and related components.
• Test electrical equipment for continuity, voltage and resistance.
• Maintain switchgear, transformers and motors.
• Troubleshoot control systems and related devices.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep accurate records.
• May install and calibrate industrial instrumentation.
• Assist and train production employees.
• Limited travel may be required.
