Job summary

Atlee Hill Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services staff member for full-time days, with every other weekend. Responsibilities include housekeeping duties, maintaining a home-like environment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents’ needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of housekeeping operations, and preferred long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations and equipment is preferred.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties and custodial tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follows daily/weekly/monthly cleaning checklists and facility policies.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families and co-workers to support resident needs.
• Cares for floors, deep-cleaning, waste management and linen transport.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team on resident care and preferences.
• Maintains neatness of resident rooms and common areas and equipment.
• Builds positive interdepartmental relationships to meet resident needs.
• Observes health and safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions per OSHA rules.
