Fort HealthCare is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to join our hospital team in Fort Atkinson. This entry-level role requires no prior cleaning experience and focuses on maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Cleaning experience preferred.
• Cleaning in healthcare, hospitality, commercial or private environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, isolation, and discharge/transfer cleaning of patient areas following Fort HealthCare cleaning procedures.
• Clean and relocate medical equipment in outpatient and patient areas as per procedures.
• Perform scheduled cleaning of non-patient areas.
• Respond to cleaning requests including emergencies.
• Handle general and medical waste and soiled linen per guidelines.
• Transport soiled linen, trash, recycling and infectious waste per disposal procedures.
• Vacuum corridors, entrances, waiting and lobby areas as scheduled.
• Mop and machine scrub corridors and entrances as scheduled.
• Maintain EVS storeroom and stock supplies.
• Launder mops, rags and other cleaning items; manage cubicle curtains.
• Complete department projects to maintain facility cleanliness and infection control standards.
