Slumberland Furniture is hiring a Home Delivery Driver to lead the delivery team on customer-focused trips. You’ll inspect, load, deliver, and set up merchandise safely and accurately, greeting customers warmly and ensuring a smooth handover.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Enjoy meeting new people.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently.
• Ability to give directions and maintain accurate records.
• Flexible schedule for day shifts across the week.
• Must pass DOT, background check, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Delivers merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.
• Establishes customer greeting, conducts a pre-inspection, sets up merchandise, verifies delivery and return accuracy.
• Performs daily vehicle maintenance and maintains clean delivery vehicles to display a professional and organized delivery.
• Ensures proper handling, operating and maintenance of all trucks and equipment to avoid injuries or damage.
